Enemies in the (spoilers?) early second world on the big bridge give experience and the only way (that I know of) to not get that experience is to catch and release Garkimasra. They cast condemn when...
If you plan to get the Brave Blade later in the game, you should choose not to venture down in the castle basement, because each run takes away attack power from the Brave Blade.
I prefer it over both CT and SoM. Great game.

My party usually consists of:
1. Setzer
2. Gau
3. Gogo
4. Either Strago, Shadow, or Edgar.
My favorite character would have to be Setzer.
Lilties.

300
Human - Paladin/Hunter
Moogle - Thief/Animist (100 Evade)
Bangaa - Templar/Defender
Viera - Assassin/Archer
Nu Mou - Morpher/Illusionist
Out of those, the Templar/Defender is my favorite.
Head up and to the right along the trees. You should exit town.
You can kill it by throwing weapons or (I think) with the Blowfish Blue Magic. For my low-level game, I had to weaken it until I could catch it, which is harder than killing it.
Nope.

To beat Skulleaters:
Use the Geomancer's !Terrain ability.
Or throw Techs(/Scrolls)
Or use Blowfish or Exploder Blue Magic.
Or use Guard until they run away.
Level 9 was the record until about one year ago, when I beat it with Butz Lenna and Cara at level 2 and Faris at level 3.
