"Bare necessisites" is defined by person-to-person, as I can live easily without a lost of the stuff others would define as necessary. Really, you give me my girlfriend, a set of clothes, and a steady supply of food and water, and I can go for longer than a year.

And yes, those are necessary for my survival.
