It's a smart move by Beckham, at least from a financial and PR standpoint. It's not a bad move for MLS either, although I'm sure we can all agree that LA Galaxy are paying well over the odds for him. The best thing about this news is that it shows Becks hs given up any hope of returning to the England squad, since the quality of opposition over in the US is nowhere near the required standard. So it's a good move for the English, too.
