I loved Yuki Kajiura's work on Xenosaga Episode III but I found most of the tracks in .Hack//SIGN to be rather sleep-inducing (just like the anime itself).

And come on: Yoko Kanno was responsible for Cowboy Bebop. She almost wins by default.
