My undying hatred goes only to two characters (I'm ignoring Seymore cause I still consider him to be irrelveant and to even mention him would be to verifiy something that doesn't even deserve existence.)
Yuffie cause she's @#!#!%$. Who should have been left to the devices of Don Corneo, cause it's what she deserves...
and Yuna, cause her lack of any real personality and the game's insistence to put her into the center of the story is what fundamentally killed this game for me.

Definitely, the most hated characters are male protagonists with slightly feminine appearances, less than manly voices, and/or flawed personalities that fans can pick apart and use to justify shallow reasons for despising them. I'm referring to Squall and Tidus, but I see Vaan increasing his rank among them.
- All the characters are poopooheads.
- The emperor, because he looks like a Yunalesca sprite.

- Terra, because she's a sensitive poopoohead, and maybe the emperor, because he looks like a doggie.

- Squall, because he's a poopoohead with issues, and Rinoa, because she acts like a teenage girl.
- Steiner, because he's a stubborn poopoohead.
- Tidus, because he's a blonde poopoohead.
- [X-2] YRP, because they're girly poopooheads.
- Vaan, because I can see his ribs.
Actually, I have a better tendency to favor characters for shallow reasons, and even the characters I don't like, I like. =D!
I love insulting Yuna! And I hate pretty much every NPC in FFXI. Especially the tarus. God have mercy on them.

I REALLY HATE BLONDE GUY CHARCTERS! like Tidus in x and Radien in Metal Gear Solid 2 they are so wimpy! but in the new final fantasy game all the main characters are blonde aint they? ha ha i have nothing against blonde people but they always seem to be crap computer game characters apart from Cloud of course.

FFI- THE KING! You save his daughter from Garland and what does he do for you? Build you a ****ing bridge! No, ship, no money, no hordes of screaming fangirls... just a bridge...
FFII- None... yet.
FFIII- See FFII
FFIV- I liked most of the characters... but because of Edward's face in the GBA version, I have to say Edward.
FFV- The characters here RULE! They are freakin' hallorius... but Reina annoyed me when (SPOILER)she stopped me from killing King Tycoon. That should get me angry, at Faris, but how could you get angry at Faris!
FFVI- Gau, I hated him sooooooo much.
FFVII- Aeris, she existed for the soul purpose of complicating things.
FFVIII- I hated 95% of the characters in this game... excluding Selphie (Traaaaaaaaains...)
FFIX- Garland, (SPOILER)for giving Kuja a time limit, Kuja was freakin' awesome, but he died, because of a time limit.
FFX- Brother.
FFX-2-Paine, and Yuna. I mean Yuna's personality went from Good to utter crap.
FFXII- The characters don't have much development, that get's me angry at all of them, but I didn't like Vossler from the beginning.
