Cait Sith (FF7) and Quina (FF9) are by far the most annoying and useless characters in the entire series. And Vaan (FF12) is the most uninterresting, boring, underdeveloped lead character ever.

I'll can see the annoying. But Quina is hardly useless. In fact he's quite usefull with things like Mighty Guard, Auto-Life, Limit Gauntlet. and Lv. 5 Death.
I didn't use Cait Sith really, So I can't vouch for his abilities.
I know you hate them, but Quina at least is Hardly useless.

i didnt really get Cait Sith but after playing DC i found him quite funny before i didn’t have a clue what he was i mean i knew he was a cat/spy but it didn’t make sense in 7.

About the FF1 King, you think maybe he just built you a bridge because he's convinced that the party are the light warriors and he decided to follow the prophecy? Maybe he named the bridge after the light warriors? What if you had a bridge named after you? This is just off the top of my head.

Tonberry! Mostly because he's incredibly frustrating to defeat.

FFXII's characters have more interesting backgrounds, more personality, then the dorks from FFVIII. Just because they're not all pally pally, doesn't mean they aren't like..completely incompatible. They work well as a team, so..yeah xD
