Item Duplication
My friend Steve found an item duplication glitch.
In battle, go to the item menu (the item you want unfortunately has to be on the top row), press the conformation button and up at the same time (it will take a while to perfect).
Then cancel til your back at the select action menu. You'll have on more of the item. I'm at the first cave with fifty pheonix downs
Yeah. It can screw up your file, so have a back up file just incase it toatally ruins your current file. I don't do the item duplication thing. I don't like cheating.
For some reason, it didn't seem like cheating when I did that in FF7.
The project that was awesome, has fallen apart... oh well.
Pft, it's possible to get any item in the game at any time through such a glitch. Item duplication doesn't really mean much when you can get FEOK's almost from the off.

I'm not sure why people say it can mess up your file. The game does NOT care that a value suddenly jumped from 1 to 100, and that's all the trick does.
Um, I don't think you can have 100 of an item. The limit is up to 99.

You can have any number of an item. The game will reset it back to 99 the first time you do anything with the item, but you can run around with, say 200 Dark Matters if you dupe enough of them.
