Good news: once I lvled up my blu magic a little bit more I learned 3 spells back to back, Pollen, Headbutt and Sandspin.

So now I can cap the blu magic and go for some of the others.
And the method I used was going H2H not facing the mob. Also do note I had on mostly leather amor with out the body piece.
