KH2 Final Mix + Is Coming

From a source more credible than my 'Metal Gear on 360' thread, EGM reveals that Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix + will be coming out in the US this fall.

If you don't know about the 'Final Mix' version, it will have a full 3D port of the GBA 'Chain of Memories' game, as well as all the features that make a Square Game a 'Final Mix'.

I'll likely be picking this up when it drops. This is a 1-2 punch of history making:

-It's the first Square game to have a 'Final Mix' version released outside of Japan

-It's the first portable-to-console port of a game as far as I know

So if you haven't bought/played KH2 already and are interested in it, this will definitely be the version to get.

**I know there's a KH board and this will be moved, but this board gets way more traffic.

When I read about it on Joystiq it seemed like EGM had been slightly ambiguous as to whether the game was actually coming out in the US or not. Still, if it's true, that's pretty sweet. Chain of Memories was pretty fun in 2D. The 3D version will be good stuff.

Gripshift started on Psp and got ported to the Ps3's Playstation marketplace. It's not the first, but it's the few.

Dengeki Online has announced that KH2: FM+ will be released:
March 29, 2007
for a price of
7980 Yen ($67 US)

They will sell it for $67 US in Japan so it will probably be $60 or $70. Don't forget that you get 2 upgraded games, not 1.

If they are going in US, then it could also (a bit later) came on PAL?

Do you know if it sold well in PAL regions? Kingdom Hearts 1 sold more units in the US than Final Fantasy X did which makes it a really big franchise for Squenix.

There's a good chance that it will come out in PAL, since most of the translation work for PAL is done once the NTSC version is out, unless they add more languages.
