There aren't any facilities to properly trade-in/sell games where I live, so I'm usually stuck with most of them. There have been a few instances where I hated a game so bad I just wanted to get rid of it, so I pushed it off on an acquaintance.
There have been a couple of occasions where I wanted to get the Limited/Special edition of a game I already had (like Devil May Cry 3), so I would sell off my original version to a friend and get the SE for myself.

There are a lot of games that I don't like and won't ever play again that I would like to get rid of. If it's a game that I like, however, I will likely keep it as long as possible.

I think I sold two or three games in my life. Two of them I ended up wanting to play again so I purchased them later. The third one was Unlimited Saga.

I never sell my games. I'm a pack rat! Besides it's my stuff and they can't have it.

Come to think of it, there have been instances where I've traded games with friends. The only one I can think of off hand is when I traded my $5 copy of Namcomuseum for my friend's copy of The Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition. That was a happy day for me.

Any game I've ever sold, were games given to me as gifts. XD

But once I've completed a game, depending on it's repetitive value I keep it. There are many games which unlock secrets when completing them anyway so it's good to meet a new challenge every time.

I keep all of the video games that I buy. You never know if you want to play them again at some point - Personally I've returned to many of my old games a lot.

I don’t really sell my games they just seem to... disappear after a while.
When I get the chance to, though, I will sell a game I don’t like. I sold this stupid soccer game once. No, I didn’t sell it. I swapped it with some guy for his golden N64 controller. Even though the joystick was demented and didn’t push all the way, I didn’t feel ripped off.

What's the point when they're all on my HD?

Once I've beaten a game, I won't sell it, because I often find myself wanting to play the said game again after some time has passed.
