Why is cooking meat so masculine?

Why is cooking meat so masculine?
I had dirty thoughts reading the title of this thread...
Meat cooking is manly as women lack the portion of the brain that controls meat cooking and ration.
Because only men cook meat of course.
What Shlup said. Plus, if you want to take a Freudian viewpoint, meat is inherently phallic, and therefore it the nature of a masculine being to desire to control it. This connection has been touched on in a number of works of literature (A Streetcar Named Desire is the only one I can think of offhand, although I know that there are others--can anyone help me out here?).
The grill is man's altar.
Happy Birthday to Me
and the toilet his throne!
Guys like grills. They get to put them together, use them outside, play with fire... It's a big toy. In order to maximize the fun attained with the toy, the man cooks!
My experience is that women aren't much into these kinds of toys. Some are, but the grill is almost ALWAYS a man's toy. Maybe some girls like racing, building cars, fishing, camping etc. But far fewer girls reach the same orgasmic joy as a man does when a grill comes into their lives.
So the guy grills that steak up and has a ball, like a child.
The woman is happy that she doesn't havbe to cook dinner for once.
Oh, and all that history crap too. I use my grill because tribal men were warriors who hunted animals. Yep.
This is the most sexist thread that I have ever read.
Man meat. :rolleyes2
But you're a french man!
