Being the incurable Tolkien fanboy that I am, I felt I just had to share this fantastic drawing of a certain character from The Silmarillion:

If you're a major Tolkien fan, then you can probably tell which character without even checking the link; that's right, it's Maeglin, the son of Eöl and Aredhel.
I love this drawing, Maeglin looks so completely adorable that it's very hard to believe he'd turn out to be the worst traitor of the Elder Days.
It's too bad.

I don't know, but he'd better make sure to give detailed background info on important events in the past, or else the whole book would become first grade confusement.
I'd also like him to drop the whole "Galdor, Hador's son, was the father of Húrin and Huor, and Húrin was the father of Túrin, Urwen and Nienor" thing.
