i got to thinking about this the other day for . . . no reason at all really

if you use al the things that boost sephiroth's first form (e.g. KotR on JENOVA, all characters at lv.99, etc) can he be more powerful than emerald or ruby?

also wondering if getting aerith to lv99 before she dies has an effect on sephiroth's first form?

No, Sephiroth can't be stronger than Emerald or Ruby (although unlike Ruby he fully regains his MP every turn... chuckle) and no, Aeris' stats are disregarded completely.

Is that true? I always use KOTR on Jenova, but no characters are at lv. 99 yet. Didn't know it makes a difference. How noticable is it?

my most recent game freezes after i defeat jenova, and i just pwn her with attacks after, ultima quadra magic,mime, it works well,lol so i was off, so i crawled back to the surface, and raised a gold choco, and got every thing i needed, ill see if i can run it through my skip dr. again and maybe it will work, i should have sephy pretty easy unless i level to 99 on accident which i have been known to do

-- Everytime a Head part on Bizarro Sephiroth was killed, 100 HP are deducted from Sephiroth's base HP (up to 250 times.)
-- Turn Count begins at 0 (this is not in the script, but it's implicit.)

agreed although that strength stat looks like a b$@ch!!!

maxed out sephy is a veyr powerful final boss, but to max him out, you also need to be very powerful so yours and his powers sort of balance out.

but in the end its all about attacks and how quickly the enemy can use them. sephiroth is the slowest of the three.

sephiroth has dark flare and a physical attack which do very high damage to a single target and he has pale horse and supernova which are real buggers.

he also uses some sort of wall spell that lowers attack damage so all in all, a very hard boss, but not a superboss.
