They are but the new stuff - controling the horse and the sword at the same time - is a lot harder to do. I had no trouble with Wind Waker, the 4 swords, OOT or Majora's Mask stuff. Not even Master Quest (easier than OOT in my view) gave me trouble.

What do you have to do to swing your sword on the horse?

press the red for sword, control the horse AND the sword with the joystick at the same time. I always end up making Link fall on his butt instead of just veering to the side

If your stuck, Renmiri, then this is what you do, When you get close to him, slash him when your close, If your on the part where he has shields, use your bow to hit him in the stomach twice before he gets to you.
