What is the difference between the Japanese FFXII Omega Ultimania guide, the Battle Ultimania, and the Scenario Ultimania. I like collecting stuff like this and I want to know which one to buy.

From the names, I would assume one is for battle mechanics and such, while the other is for explaining storystuffs. Seems like a nice way of cashing in twice as much.
everything is wrapped in gray
i'm focusing on your image
can you hear me in the void?
Omega has a lot more pages and it is a lot more "balanced" having good details both on maps, fiends, characters and story.
Battle Ultimania has a picture of each weapon, and battle strategies and goes into a deep discussion of Gambits and the license board. Maps are less detailed.
Scenario rules on maps, story and character descriptions. It goes into tons of details on those and just gives the basic on the rest.
IMHO, if I had to buy only one it would be the Omega Ultimania.
I have all 3 so if you have more questions ask away or look at my wiki

Basically I'm looking one with production sketches and such - I love character designs. So the Omega Ultimania would be best for that?
Omega has 30 pages of that
The Strategy Guide Collectors Edition apparently has tons of those too.
My site has the ones that came on the DVD and one or two Omega scans like the one below

I have the US strategy guide (collector's version with the bonus artbook) but it mainly features CG stuff. I like the drawings better.
Then buy the Omega. 30 pages of drawings.
I hope they launch a "The Art of" for FFXII. I have the one for FFX and it is spetacular![]()
