    Default The ridiculous challenge.

Of attempting to beat Lavos at the Ocean Palace? Has anyone ever managed to survive constant overpowered onslaughts of raining lasers of death? I did it by spamming Double Cure and sucking back enough Megalixir to ressurect the dead. It was pretty damn satisfying raining on Queen Zeal's parade like that. ^_^

    What happens?
Leave some shards under the belly
Lay some grease inside my hand
    It's a sentimental jury
And the makings of a good plan

You can...win that battle? I thought you were supposed to lose it.

*goes through a few more New Game+s*

I've done it. It's not terribly hard on New Game +, of course.

Yeah, I pulled it off around level 70.

It's the alternative method of getting to the Programmer's Room.

I don't remember it being that difficult on New Game+? I know it took the third play thru to make it possible but it wasn't too difficult as long as you brought the right party.

Doable in a New Game+, but I would certainly say it's the hardest fight in the game. Beating it on a first play through, now that’s something. (Maybe I'll try over Christmas when I'm away from my consoles, gogo frame skip leveling).

Even if you manage to level enough, the lack of the best armor is the real kicker.

(On a side note, if you beat Lavos form #1, and then gate out before the ocean palace, when he spawns he will also be headless. Kind of amusing having the big build up to terrible Lavos and he appears decapitated.)

First time through it's next to impossible unless you mack out on leveling up. But on new game+ you should have it done ALOT easier.

I'm new to this game and haven't got that far. What happens if you beat Lavos as soon as you get to the end of time? I tried and died.

If you do that then you beat the game.

Depending on what point in the game you beat Lavos, you can unlock different edings.

You get to see a Croaker and a Nu screw around and then "The End"
