    Default FINISHED

okay i haven't done the super bosses yet, or the extra dungeon. but i beat ex-death. he was easy i think i was way overlevelled, and the mimic class made it even easier. i kept bumping into omega on the way though, what a rapist!! and i opened some box and saw shinryuu and i was like JKDSGHDJKGHJKH!!!!!!! but it let me escape so WHEW

the ending was great i felt really bad for krile it proper pulled at the old heart strings!!! but anyway great game, GREAT. better than the four previous games in the series. onto FF6...

Congrats. I still need to beat FF V Advance. I haven't played it in weeks because of FF XI and XII. Darn them

FF V is good, but I think the previous 4 are still better

Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

I lost interest in the bonus dungeons once I got to the obnoxious River of Souls. I still had a blast with FFVA though.

And given the chain of how quickly I've blown through FFIV and V Advance, I'll have FFVI Advance completed in three days.

So are you just playing them all in order? That'd be one helluva an awesome feat for an introduction into the FF series.

Stupid TwinTanya or something killed me twice. And it takes a lot of time to go all that way, and she'll probably kill me again. So yeah, it'll be a while till I start this baby up again.

You mean like Zantetsuken? 'cause that'd be awesome.

Ooh nice. Why fight like a knight when you can cheat like, uh.. wheat? But yeah, it's slice and dice then.

A lot of the bosses in FFV have extremely exploitable weaknesses. You can put Atomos to sleep and skip a stupidly difficult battle, Firaga hits Melusine for ~4000 per cast, Float + Reflect causes Catastrophe to use the same attack over and over, etc.

Doesn't FFV have multiple endings meaning there is incentive to replay it?

The endings are basically the same at the core. There's just slight variants based on who is alive after the final battle with Neo Exdeath.

yeah i'm playing them in order but it's not my introduction, i've known about this series for about 10 years. although playing them so closely together allows me to put better perspective on which ones i like better than others. so far i'd say 5 is definitely the best of the first five.

hey guys where is the bonus dungeon i can't find it!!!
