Wow! I joined so long ago I barely even remember. At the time I was a teenager living in Texas looking for a site with good FF coverage. I'm going to say that I read a few threads before joining.

I was sort of forced to read a few threads here and there before joining and then I ended up joining on a dare and I had no idea really what a forum even was. I know I didn't know what threads were.

Tammy begged me to join. Only she did it under the guise of Election Booth. She used to wear a box on her head, with a hole in the top, and would ask people to submit their votes in the hole.
