Right after I found EoFF (I had noticed that an old friend of mine was posting here), I made an account to send him a PM. That account was active for over a year and had maybe 3 or 4 posts on it. When I decided I'd start posting, I created this account.

I kinda did not really read much before I joined. It was more of just joining since it seemed interesting. It was also the first forum I joined.

I read a few threads before joining. I've known about EoFF about a year or so before actually joining. I read a couple of threads one day, and decided that day wasn't the day to join. xDD And then finally it happened, I guess.

I always lurk a bit before joining a forum. I dunno how long I lurked at EoFF before signing up, but I do remember trying to get a feel for the place before jumping in.

I read several threads before joining, but only for a few days or so before deciding to join. After having two bad experiences on other forums, which generally had a lot of rude people, I wasn't interested in joining another, because all the forums I had ever read, and the two I had joined, seemed to be full of jerks.

I found a link to this place in the second forum I had joined, and the people there consistently insulted this forum (like everything else they mentioned) but as soon as I read that one link, I realized that all the posters seemed to be decent enough. After a few more reads, I noticed that someone wanted help finding the original Monkey Island games (which have been discontinued by Lucasarts) and I decided to join a help him out.

Unfortunately the thread was closed because "abandonware is a tricky thing, and not always legal." I think that's what whoever closed it said.

I was searching for help on some FF game or another. I looked at the main site for help, realized it wasn't going to work and joined the fora. I didn't actually use the forum much for game purpose. I was drawn to the Writer's Corner. I remember DM and Calliope's poem thread. Good stuff.
