U.S. meet up?

While an all-US meet up is as unlikely as two blue elephants giving birth to a striped watermelon, there is nothing to prevent those in smaller regions to meet up if they so desired.

I am sure that there are plenty of EoFFers within a hundred miles of each other, but to know of a close one that you like is completely different.

For the sake of being more awesome than most, I would show up for a meet up in my area, provided enough time was given so I could notify my workplace and budget for the trip.

No way I'd be able to make it to NYC. And the reason why I haven't organized a meetup or whatever before is because imo to organize a meetup you need at least one person that you'd like to meet that you *know* is going beforehand so you don't spend your time trying to organize stuff that no one shows up to or only a few random people you've never seen post. xD

If you want to organize one, try one around Wisconsin though ;]

But yeah. A U.S. meetup is pretty much impossible, unless some rich ass EoFFer decides to fund the whole trip and fly everyone to Hawaii or something. I'd be down for that.

Honestly though Chicago would be a good meetup place x3 it's right in the middle of everything. Didn't we have a Chicago meetup before? Or at least one planned, I know that. ^^

Just put together multiple meeting sites and get a couple big big televisions. And then do some sort of crazy webcast thing so everyone can see what everyone else is doing.

Or keep chatting on the forum and not care about meeting people.

I do really want to eventually, but as I said, I can't for at least a year. I only really mentioned it here to see if people would be up for it in the future. It depends on if I get into the college I want to go to in the city. But if I do, I sure will organize one, because I didn't expect so many people to be for it.
