Arm Wrestling

So, when I was out earlier tonight eating pizza with my family, I witnessed my 83-year-old Mormor (Grandma) beat my teenage brother, who's quite fit, at arm wrestling. I think that was probably the greatest moment of my life. I haven't laughed so hard in too long (probably a month). Oh man

Anyways, tell kikimama your thoughts about arm wrestling. Do you like it? Are you a champion arm wrestler? Etc.

I'm not so good at it myself, although I do enjoy putting much younger children in their place every once in awhile.

The "sport" of arm wrestling was founded in my current town.

Arm wrestling has a very long history. As an organized sport, it has been around since 1952. The very first matches took place in Petaluma, California, in a saloon. A journalist named Bill Soberanes is credited with founding the sport.

I myself am decent, but nothing special at it.

I like arm wrestling because I am really skinny, and look alot weaker than I actually am.

So when I arm wrestle people assume they're gonna get an easy win but I put them in their place. I don't always win but I atleast give the other person a run for their money.

I don't enjoy arm wrestling at all, but that's probably because I'm a real weakling. I avoid doing it whenever possible, but if someone else is really insistent I'll give it a go, and get my humiliation out of the qay as quickly as possible.

I am a defensive Arm Wrestler. Basically I can rarely put someone down, but I am rarely put down. For example my brother and I probably went at it for a good 10-15 minutes of just grunting and trying to push the other one down.


Err.... now why doesn't that sound right. Anyways we had to call it a draw. Both our arms were beginning to really hurt, particually given that neither of us had gained or lost any ground.



One odd thing is my left arm is my better arm for arm wrestling but I am right handed. And for most things I perform better right handed than left.
