im pretty sure it starts w/ an E and i know that u have to kill off the Zu(?) in order for it to appear.

Okay, yeah, it's called the Enkelados. Kill off all the Zu(sp) in "The Shred", then exit and reenter. He should be flying around somewhere now that the Zu (sp) is gone. Also, there might be a Bull Croc in the area, take him out because he's annoying.

In Ozmone Plain, open your map and just scroll around, eventually you'll see a place called "The Shred"

Note: Kill all the bird / owl thingies, get out of the shred, then get into it again and the Enkelados will be there.

lol i believe the flying enemy was called aeros and he appears every time you fight bull croc
and i only had to fight Enkledos, no other rare enemies

hit the flying gits with blind and disable and the become easy targets, dark works well too.
