I don't think so. He goes back to being a no-good-nik and she becomes Queen. Maybe that's just the rubbish ending, I'm not one to lose sleep over failing to complete at 100%

It's been a while, but wasn't there one point on disk three, when Alexandria is getting blown up, where he rescues her and she hugs the crap out of him? I'd say that was clincher right there. But in case you miss that, the point where she she kisses him in front of the whole bloody kingdom pretty in the final cinema should pretty much clue you in.
Personally, I think FFIX has one of my favorite ending sequences in all of video gaming. It's just so bitter sweet that you'd have to be a stone cold bastard not to get choked up.
i think she shows she has feelings (SPOILER)when zidane tells her he cant take her any further, then she flys away on the hilda garde 3, she has a sad face as she gets further awaybut doesnt admit her feelings it till the end

(SPOILER)Thy are standing on the theatre stage in alexander, vivi has children (I think, I forgot some) She runs up to him or something as if he died then she thumps him with her fist a few times as though he did something wrong then hugs, I don't remember them kissing at all
