Leeza's answer is probably the best one I've seen so far. I'd have either that, or else a miniature fridge. Not so much for the fridge, but for the magnetic front - because then I could just attach all sorts of things to it with magnets.
Another idea would be a light switch, as sometimes I can't be arsed getting up to turn the main light off. Even though it's only, er, about four feet away from my bed as it is. xD
