I have one, but it also needs updating. It's not like it's hard or something....

I updated mine in December because I was interviewing for a second job. I thought it was pretty spiffy, now I realize they probably didn't even look at it. >:

My resume is just a piece of paper with the word "AWESOME" written in very large letters.

I've got a CV but hasn't been updated since I was about 16. Also fo my carrer I have to produce a portfolio showing 45 hours of extra learning as well all the skills abd training I've attended. I haven't even started that one

I've got till May though before I need to look for a job. Plenty of time

See, I considered trying that, but people kept giving me this look...

I don't have a resume, I have a portfolio, and it's rather lacking of the "WOW" factor right now. I'm spending nearly $200 this coming weekend to fix that.

I've been keeping a curriculum vitae since I was old enough to write.

I did have a great resume but somehow my last career change - being a stay at home mom - is less than impressive on it

Don't sell it short. A lot of people doing the hiring are women...with kids of their own so they know where you're coming from. What they don't like to see on resumes are blank spaces where you don't account for your time of not working for a paycheque.

No, I've never had a need to. I guess I'd better write one now. Here goes:

    Hi, prospective employer!

I'm somewhat awesome. Alright, I lied, I'm extremely awesome. Now pick me for your job.

Also, just so you know, I've never had a job in my life and I'm a lazy slacker.

Well, g2g! I have important eCommerce and eBusiness to take care of!

As you can probably tell, I'm looking for an executive position in a large multinational corporation. Golden handshake, here I come.

Must be because they don't know what a "paycheque" is.
