Yay science!I wonder if you could give one of those arms some sort of AI.
It's amazing; it seems every day there's a new amazing technological advancement.
I'm happy for her, and I hope more people who have tragically lost limbs can also receive a bionic replacement.
I wonder if you could trick the brain into thinking it's connected to more than two arms... if so, Goro could rule!
Of course, there are far more interesting things to do than have extra arms.
She actually doesn't have the only arm like this. I read thing the other day about a guy with a simpiler arm but none the less he was able to control it well with his thoughts. Just no feeling for him.
I guess she can't punch people with it though...

Hah! She can't leave fingerprints with that arm, imagine the things she could get away with...

That's the big thing, the fact that she's regained feeling in the arm rather than it just being a prosthesis. Since we rely a lot on our sense of touch to co-ordinate our limbs having a "numb" arm that can move is very tricky to use. This on the other hand is much easier for a person to use. It's a two-way street as oppose to a one-way one. Rather than you just telling the arm what to do, the arm's giving you feedback as well.
There is no signature here. Move along.
Wth @ the patch of skin on her chest twitching and stuff, that sounds super scary. ._.
Interesting what they can do now, though.
