Guess! Quick! Before you post lyrics!
If you guess wrong, blim will win, and the world will be washed over with darkness.
(SPOILER)Darkness never gets me very clean
I would look up the lyrics to this online, but that seems like cheating.

Roy Harper is the singer. I can't remember the name of the song though.
Seeing that there hasn't been a reply here for a few hours, I'm assuming it's up for grabs?
"There's a fire in your eyes
And I hope you'll let it burn
There's a scream in your voice
And I hope you will be heard
There's a fire in your eyes
And I hope you'll let it burn
Until you're heard, you're heard"
You guys better not be googling this. I mean, what's the point then?
(Note: I've known 90% of these so far without having to look.)
Just coming by to tally up the score....

Seventeen Ain't So Sweet by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
k, for mine:
"Against the grain
Against the odds
I'll rise and I won't trip again
The dawn of a new day never looked
As good as this"
Im impressed Scar tissue. i didn't think anyone on here would know Roy Harper. The song was called "IF" from the album "Once" check it out anyone who likes acoustic folk type stuff.
btw dawn of a new day by In flames
The higher the monkey can climb
The more it shows its tail
Aint no man happy til he dies
Theres no water in the bottom of the pail
(apologies for being deliberately fairly obscure)
EDIT: As no one has got that yet (Tom Waits- Misery is the river of the world) I'll do an easier one instead,
I woke up in a Soho doorway
A policeman knew my name
He said "You can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away"
I staggered back to the underground
And the breeze blew back my hair
I remember throwin' punches around
And preachin' from my chair
P.S. can i have 10 points cos no one got the original one
P.P.S. my next one is going to be really hard

Alright noone's going to get this making the next set of lyrics up for grabs.
blim's song is "Who Are You?" by The Who.
I'll edit this in a minute with lyrics.
EDIT:
"Don't need a reason to do the things that I do
No need to impress you, just wanna undress you.
I really love your shoes, you still kick Kangaroos,
And the way you comb your hair like it's 1982."
Signature by rubah. I think.
I believe that's How We Do, but I'm drawing a total blank on the artist.![]()
You got the title right, and I would give you hints on the artist if I could think of one that wouldn't give it away.
Signature by rubah. I think.
Rase gets 5 points then...

Next set of lyrics is up for grabs.
All right. I'll go then. *nods*
Lifting the mask from a local clown
Feeling down like him
Seeing the light in a station bar and
Traveling far in sin
Sailing downstairs to the northern line
Watching the shine of the shoes
Hearing the trials of the people there
Who's to care if they lose
lol signature
"Parasite" by Nick Drake.
And think, I wouldn't know that if you hadn't sent his whole Pink Moon album to me. ^^
Anyway, my turn.
"This sweet disaster
A thorn in my tongue
We’re burning bridges
And building new ones
The best of both worlds
Quarters my heart
We’re no exception
You’ll both have my love"
Okay, it's been long enough. The song was "Your 8x10 Falls Victim to My Pen" by Asteria.
Next one!
"It's these substandard motels
On the corner of Fourth and Fremont Street
Appealing only 'cause they're just that unappealing
Any practiced Catholic would cross themselves before entering"
Panic at the disco - Build God, then we'll talk
tricky one now (i think) , good luck
Who needs lobotomy when we've got the ITV?
Who needs ECT when there's good old BBC?
Switch on the set, light up the screen,
Fantasise and dream about what you might have been,
Who needs controlling when they've got the cathode ray?
They've got your f***ing soul, now they'll fuse your brains away.
Mindless f***ing morons sit before the set,
Being fed the mindless rubbish they deserve to get.
Can't switch off big brother, they've lost all will to act,
Lost in drab confusion, was it fiction, was it fact?
Another plastic bullet stuns another Irish child,
But no-one's really bothered, no, the telly keeps them mild.
They've lost all sense of feeling to the every hungry glow,
Drained of any substance by the vicious telly blow.
No longer know what's real or ain't, slowly going blind,
They stare into the goggle box while the world goes by, behind.
The Angels are on T.V. tonight, grey puke f***ing s***.
The army occupy Ireland, but the boot will never fit
