Last Great sword

Can somebody help me out. I'm trying to find out how to get the best great sword in the game. I know that you need to get it from the bazaar, but what items do i need and where do i get them?

You know you will find out that it is reaaaaaally not worth it in the end...

If you just get the Ragnarok, Ultima Blade, and Excalibur and you are a high level with lots o strength then you will do 9999 damage all the time. The Tourensol or Wyrmhero Blade won't do a difference if you are already doing that much damage.

-Lu Shang's Badge (Recieve by completing the fishing mini-game)

-Godslayer Badge (Recieve by killing Yiazmat)

-Omega Badge (Recieve by killing Omega Mark XII)

Sell those three items to the bazaar and a bazaar package called "Dragon Crest" becomes buyable for 65,535 gil. It contains the Wyrmhero Blade.

The Wyrmhero Blade isn't as strong as the Tournsesol, but it provides double the evasion bonus. In fact, the Wyrmhero Blade provides the same evasion bonus as the Zodiac Escutcheon, the game's (arguably) best shield.

What level would you have to be to start being able to do 9999 damage with those swords?

Well it depends on the foe. It its a regular monster than you should be doing 9999 but on a boss or hunt it will probably be lower.

Ultima Blade does 9999 for me at level 55-60ish and Excalibur usually always take 9999. Ragnarok just takes 3-5000. But if you level up to something insane like 80-90 then it will definitely take 9999 all the time.

Wouldn't it also depend on the natural strength of the character, and whether they were wearing heavy, light, or mystic?

And usually all the characters strengths are the same at the same level and equipped with all the Battle Lores/

I wouldn't know since I never outfitted myself with anything except for Heavy Armor...and that did it for me I guess.

yea My whole party is level 56 and my highest damage dealer takes away 2500 usually, but then again he still has the claymore, so i was just lookin for a better great sword to get and i thought wat better then the final one.

i think the best ones the wyrmhero blade. Equipped it gives you bravery, faith autmatically, and it combos alot
but the bad thing is... it make the person equipped go incredibly slow

Just cast haste on the character all the time or equip the character with the Hermes Sandals which you could buy at the barheim passage which if I'm right should make him go as fast as the Swords or Guns.

The best great sword is the Tournesol or the Excalibur.

Don't even bother getting the Wyrmhero Blade, unless you don't want to play FFXII anymore. It's the slowest weapon in FFXII. Also, by the time you get it, you will have barely any use for it because Yiazmat and Omega Mark XII and most likely all other strong enemies will be gone. The Wyrmhero Blade is really just for show.
