I think that I am overall fortunate but when it comes to matters of luck such as dice lottery contests etc then I am not.

Well, it fluctuates, really.

Any time something really lucky happens to me, it's followed almost immediately by something of the same magnitude, but opposite alignment.

Like if something at 7 good happens, then something incredibly unlucky happens at rank 7.

It's the universe's brilliant way of balancing out my luck.

And I'm pretty lucky, considering the circumstances beyond my control. I.e. I have a caring family, they're in a pretty good finacial situation, I didn't turn out retarded or anything and am actually decently smart, I'm happy for the most part with how I look, and umm... I just rock, okay. ^_^

My friends often believe me to be lucky however I strongly disagree for several obvious reasons in my past. Still I'd say a 5 for every time I have been unlucky something lucky has happened to me too.

I could give a long list of reasons I should be considered lucky, and another long list of reasons I shouldn't.

My answer? I don't believe in luck as a discrete actor, just a way of describing something positive or negative which happens outside of one's control. So, I'm really not able to give a score, because I'm not going to tally up the events of my entire life which have occurred because of something I can't do anything about and see what comes out.
