(SPOILER)he is a tribute to Zeromus in FFIV and Neo-Exdeath in FFV..to explain ^^ he relates to Zeromus in that they have similar final lines...Zeromus states he will live as long as evil exists in the hearts of men and necron states he will exist as long as there is life or death...he relates to Neo-exdeath in that they both desire to eliminate everything..exdeath says he will eliminate all memories,existance, and dimensions...and necron states he will return everything to the zero world where their is no existance
