I have no clue what I'll do maybe I'll make an effort to go to a singles bar lol wait...desperate single girls waiting for a good looking guy like me to come along with some cash and buy them a rose or something from the shifty guy on the door who charges a tenner a rose. Nah I'll stay home and play games this year.

I'm not planning on doing anything special with my wife. Valentines Day is in no way special or sacred. We don't need a special day to say and show that we love each other, we do that every day. There's nothing special about doing anything on Valentine's Day because people feel obligated to because it's Valentine's Day, not because they want to, and I feel that defeats the whole purpose of doing something special for someone.

Besides, any other time of year I can get her a box of chocolates and a dozen roses for a fraction of the price <i>and</i> it will be a true surprise and mean more to her.

Unless something comes up very suddenly, I don't think I'm going to do anything for Valentine's Day this year. I don't really like these sorts of occasions anyway. Why should any one day of the year be more about love than any other? People shouldn't need to make a special effort just because it's mid-February; they should be making the effort every day.

Valentines Day is also our 3-year anniversary. :o

My boyfriend is taking us out for Fondue. xD We're driving 2 hrs to get there, cos' there's a really good place in Appleton but we're in Madison. x3 It will be yummy, and it's the same place we went for prom night two and a half years back. xD

I'm not sure what else we'll do or what I'll get him yet... but then, I'm sure he'll be entirely satisfied with a good night in bed Boys are so easy to please. >=)

I feel the same way - it seems to be much more obligation and show than actual love and care. But sometimes it's nice to follow tradition and plan things anyways. If Valentine's were the only day that couples did these listed romantics, I would be very much concerned.

Sporadic, unplanned romantics are always much, much better - everyone enjoys a surprise.

I'm not sure what else we'll do or what I'll get him yet... but then, I'm sure he'll be entirely satisfied with a good night in bed Boys are so easy to please. >=)

But yeah, us guys are generally easy to please when it comes to presents. If you can't think of anything, you can always unzip us.

We actually have to think about presents, or you complain. But I presume us guys dug our own grave and enjoy doing it...

I've never ever done anything on Valentines day before but my boyfriend would like to. We're going to go for a meal. It will be pretty special to me because the first valentines I do anything on will be spent with him - but before that I have work 9-2.

I'm more looking forward to May the 12th when it's our year anniversary!

I'll probably annoy my teacher by calling it valentime'z day and I'll hand out my crapy V-day cards to my friends and I'll go then I'll go to some friends house like usual. I'll probably have homework to do my teachers don't care if its a holiday or not so its not gonna be that special.
