I laughed so hard at how stupid that was. "It's long distance communication....MOLESTERS USE!!!!" Hmmm so I suppose under that logic the telephone, internet, telegraph, and art of letter writing are all used by molesters.
Really it's nothing but the parents faults for not telling their kids to not talk to strangers. Besides I was under the impression for the chat to work you needed the said person's ID information similar to any other form of communication so you could actually know who you were sending your messages to.
Though was I the only one who laughed when he said molesters would see your kids, while driving in the back seat, and communicate with them? The idiocy surrounding that part alone was enough for me to lose some IQ points.

Like myspace, its not the DS thats dangerous. Its stupid kids or bad parents that are at fault for molestation. Either the parents arent telling their kids not to reveal personal information, or the dumbass kids do it anyway. Dont blame the system.
