I smile sadly whenever I think of the times we spent together, or quietly muse or laugh over past conversations. But ever in these memories, there is a sense of longing and sorrow. And I now realize how that is so: these were once my friends, but now, apparently, no more. It was truly no one's choice - to have us fade and become nothing more than lost memories - but it would now seem that we have since broken what ties there were with each other. We are apart.

We are all ghosts, and I wonder which of us now realize it...
