Very often someone will make connections and come up with a guess that is close to the answer, and someone else will use those connections and that guess to discover the exact answer. It really can't be avoided; it's a part of the game.

Sometime, bipper, I'm sure you'll use someone else's connections to get the exact answer. It'll even out. (Take this from someone who has been on both sides of the "steal" and made a fool of himself when the answer was "stolen" from him.)
