Final fantasy 6 riddles

Effervescent hope is found, (the hope that your allies are all alive)
In malefic raining light, (Kefka's light of judgement)
Six minutes for the saviour, (six minutes for Celes to save the kid)
Tiger, tiger burning bright. (holding up the house, "feeling the burn" )

#2: Terra.

Aether gilded, heaven blessed, (blessed with heavenly power)
Resigned to the mundane, (stuck on earth)
Till the nature of desire, (love, desire to save world/children/help allies)
Breaks the hold of terra's chains. (her being stuck at mobliz [terra means earth!])

#3: Edgar.

Heartbeat of the lions twain, (Sabin and Edgar BUT YOU SAID SABIN WAS A TIGER LIAR LIAR)
Evading what is true, (his real name. "I'm Gerad!")
Heedless on despite repute, (you might think he's a petty thief)
Enchained to give what's due. (arrangement with other thieves?)

#4: Celes.

New center for the stage is found, (Celes is now the protagonist)
Only stage again is changed, (World of Ruin = different landscape)
Belief defines her faith anew, (??)
Let death the path arrange. (Cid can die helping you)

#5: Cyan.

Found in halls of ancient stone, (zozo mountains)
Making beauty, hands of war. (a warrior writing love letters)
And a fitting line of tribute,
Names the way of those called forth.


If you rearrange the stanzas in chronological order of when you can acquire these characters in the World of Ruin, the left side spells out "Noble is the heart bf man". (I think you changed the "o" line but forgot to keep it starting with O.)

Now, I'm not quite sure what to do from here. I think it was pretty open as to what to do next after finding these five characters.

...Okay, I did a little work and found out that Cyan recited those words. Okay, and then he said he bumped into Gau. So the next place you go, or at least the answer to this riddle, is:

Very, very good! You're right about me changing the line (d'oh!), but you got it anyway. Very good. Now, just to tie up some loose ends and clarify some things:

For stanza 2 I was actually thinking of Setzer (the stanza as a whole is sort of referring to how he used to fly but now is stuck on land), because you need him to get to Cyan, but you got the order right anyway.

"Heartbeat of the lions twain,"
I was referring to the association of lion=king, and also the fact that both Sabin and Edgar are Leos.
"Enchained to give what's due."
I was actually thinking that it's his duty as a king to save his people.

Belief defines her faith anew, (??)
After Celes attempts suicide following Cid's death, she finds a bird with Locke's bandana and she starts to think her friends might be alive.

The promise locke made to terra to protect her, I think den of liars is refering to zozo when he goes to get her

Boy, that makes sense, but not what I was looking for. "Promise" doesn't actually refer to a spoken promise.

Ohh...the ghost guy in Zozo who teaches you about Espers? Isn't it said in the tutorial place in the beginning that there will be other places you can go to learn? Yet the guy in Zozo is the only other teacher you find.

[edit] Okay, I don't feel like dragging this one out. The riddle refers to the stormy skies on the title screen (promising rain), and the fact that you don't see actual rain until much later, in Zozo. Maybe a stretch--I should've added more lines.

...And my sister just came up with an even better answer: Arvis's promise that Terra's memory will return, which happens in Zozo. So, folks, this is an example of a BAD riddle, due to the whole "multiple answers being better than the one I had in mind" deal.
