If you go to Tools > Options > Alerts and Sounds, I think there's like a box that you can untick or something that will turn it off.

there's an option that's like: display alert when a new message is received but it's not currently checked so i doubt it's in there.
Download TweakUI from http://www.microsoft.com/ and you can set it on every window, not just MSN ^_^

TweakUI does have alot of hidden settings but unluckly it can't let you unlock Microsoft's lock on theme manager. However a while back Yams posted how to alter a certain *.dll file in Windows to unlock it, then all you have to do is download the theme files from deviantart and put them in the theme folder and it works.

funny.. it still blinks orange. Is there a special program for MSN only? I kind of need the flashing for other programs.
