"... and so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written."
I can't see that link at work, but I saw this a couple days ago.

It doesn't look like there are any gameplay shots in my link, but the art looks interesting. I'd rather see some combat screens. It should be interesting to see how the battle works in a sidescrolling 2D game, especially since the series best known for 2D Action RPG gameplay has expanded past that.
Looks pretty cool, reminds alot of Atelier Iris
and I heard somewhere that this game was going to be on the PSP(which is better IMO)
Did a little digging, watched a video:
http://www.uploda.net/cgi/uploader1/...0000189951.zip
It's a japanese site, type "pri" without the quotes in the first text box, then click the button directly below it.
The video mentions a game called 'Princess Crown', apparently this company made this game for the Saturn.
There is a PSP version coming out in Japan, but the PS2 game has been out since 2005 it seems. The version coming to America is the PS2 version, which makes the PSP version impossible.
There is a rule, as far as Sony in America goes, that you can't port a PS1/PS2 game to the PSP unless there is a certain amount of new content. This is the main thing preventing Disgaea from being released on the PSP in the US, and likely Breath of Fire and Tales of Eternia--both available in the UK. As well as countless other effortless cash-in attempts to bring over sub-quality games. I don't know what, if any, additional features are going to be in Odin Sphere PSP, but I don't see that coming out in America.
Side-Scrolling Action is <3
So, Psyphers masters gonna save the world ^ ^
GR8
nice hint.
PS3 owner, but not played RPG yet (teh) :sweatdrop
