Agreed. It also depends on the FF. For example, I prefer FFVI Piano Collections to FFVI Grand Finale. FFVII's orchestra and piano versions are quite hard to compare since FFVII only has three orchestrated songs. As for a case where I prefer the orchestral versions, I prefer FFVIII Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec to FFVIII Piano Collections.
