Do you enjoy horror movies/games/literature? If so, what are some of your favorites in the genre? If not, why?

I've had a fascination with horror for practically all my life, probably stemming from my birthdate (my birthday always tended to get conflated with Halloween, at least to me) and the fact that my parents were extremely lenient in what sort of movies I watched.
