You can't equip any weapons or amor on Umaro. Just relics. Give him the Berserker Ring and the Blizzard Orb

Umaro has a Bone Club equipped when he joins. =P
It would be cool with genji glove and dualwield boneclubs :p.

If you want to see what everyone has equipped, select Equip from the menu, then when the finger pointer comes up to select a character, press left on the d-pad. You should see the finger pointer split across all the party members, much like when you cast a spell on all members. Confirm and you will see what relics and equipment everyone is using.
I usually give Umaro a Gauntlet instead of a Blizzard Orb.
