Exactly. It's also aestethically pleasing. The purpose of a forum is to post your thoughts, etc., not to show off pretty pictures (you can do that in the Art section though. )

Forums with larger avs/sigs tend to look quite garish, in my opinion, and EoFF will never be one of <i>those</i> type of sites.
