There comes a point when adding a single brushtroke to a painting or a single letter to a poem will only diminish it. I wanted to write a longer poem, but I hit that limit very early. Them's the breaks.

The third possibility is that the staff is sitting on the fence, and no one will definitively say yes OR no. That's closer to the truth, I think. Everyone is too busy lallygagging and pussyfooting around in the staff forum.

This is perhaps the dirtiest-sounding post I've ever made in spite of a lack of anything that's actually profane. I tried hard to work the word "niggardly" in there too but I couldn't pull it off.
