Do you recommend the GBA version of Sonic the Hedgehog?

Which one? Sonic Advance 1, 2, 3? Yeah, they're pretty good, and probably all really cheap by now. Sonic Advance 2 is my personal favourite of the bunch. It's just really... fast.

Of course, they're all crap compared to Sonic Rush for DS. :P

Or do you mean the port of the original? It's a 15-year-old game with a spin-dash added. If you don't own one of the dozen ports or Sonic The Hedgehog that are already out there... it's still not worth getting because those other ports also include a bunch of other games and are cheaper. Get Sonic Mega Collection instead. There's a lot more games in it and it's probably cheaper at this point.

Really? I'm not sure if I should buy the GBA port of the original Sonic the Hedgehog. Because Gamespot didn't have anything nice to say about the Genesis port of Sonic for the GBA...I think I'll play it safe and download Sonic the Hedgehog from the Virtual Console.
