A glitch!?

so i bought my copy of ff12 1 minute after the store opened on release day have already encountered a problem.

i have obtained ballthier and fran but no matter wot i do fran's MP always, ALWAYS stays at zero. ive tried save crystals, ethers, nothing works. her max MP is like 40-odd but her current MP is always zero. i'm guessing this isn't supposed to happen!?

This is the only thing I know about this game. I think rubah's right. Let me guess: she's silenced, too, right?

Nop, one of the items drain all the MP, the other does nothing to MP, but silences the character, iirc.

It's probably the accessory named Goddess' magicite, so just unequip it. :mog:

I've seen this "glitch" 5 times already.

Unequip the Shard and/or the neticite

Isn't it the Godess' Magicite that does it?

It's not a glitch. Equipping the nethicite is *supposed* to reduce a character's MP to 0. That's the drawback to it. It absorbs all magic attacks, but the character in turn can't use magic either. It even notes "reduces MP to 0" when you select it in your menu.

I've also seen this 'glitch' many times and cut myself everytime I see them.

How would he have the nethecite if he JUST recieved Balthier and Fran, he has or had (if you rectified the problem) the Goddesses magicite.

It said it reduced it to zero. It was pretty obvious when you moved down to the item in your list.

Godess' Magicite reduces MP to 0, Nethicite silences you. So one allows quickenings and the other doesn't...
