Default Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn

This game got released a few days ago in Japan. Here is some information, for those it may interest:

-The game is 44 chapters long, and split into four parts.
-Micaiah is the main leader of the first part, which focuses on the Dawn Group. Princess Elincia is the main character of the second part, and Ike is the main leader of part three.
-In a surprising twist, the Black Knight has returned, and is actually playable, joining Sothe and Micaiah, even though it's suspected it's only for one chapter.
-There are third-tier classes that can promote from promoted classes. The Empress, the class of Sanaki, is one of these.

As for some returning characters from Path of Radiance:

Yep, this is Ike, all right.

    Here's Mia.

    Nephenee's back, too.

The Apostle Sanaki is playable now. Damn, those are some incredibly high stats.

For those who can't read the stats, they are, from top to bottom:
    -Strength
    -Magic
    -Skill
    -Speed
    -Luck
    -Defense
    -Resistance

    Must. Get. This. Game.

I SOOOO want this game... though I should get myself to beat Path of Radiance first. I just don't have the time for this game that I want.. ie hours to sit and play. But next week I have my Spring Break so I may actually be able to play it! Can't wait for this game to come out over here though!!!!!

I like how the stat bars look, so you have an idea of how high the stat can actually go. Plus, the characters you happen to show pictures of, were some of my favorites from the first. My Mia owns people! Always attacks first, critical hit 50% of the time!

I like this series, a lot. Just not enough to make me spend money on a Gamecube or a Wii. The GBA versions are awesome, though, and I'm currently playing through the SNES versions.

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

I wonder what the reviews are like. It's a tactical rpg which mean I might like it a lot. I enjoyed Front Mission 1 and Ogre Battle, plus Final Fantasy Tactics. How similiar is it to those games? I haven't played Nippon Ichi games though.
Recently beaten: Alundra 1, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Currently playing: Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, Final Fantasy I
Will play next: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Mass Effect, Fallout 3(???)

If you have a GBA or a Gamecube, go buy one of the games that are already released.

Now, I've learned a crapload of information, and I'm going to share it.

-Characters can promote a second time. However, Laguz cannot promote still. Also, as there are only 20 Master Crowns in the game, only 20 characters aside from Ike, Micaiah, Elincia, and Sothe can promote into a third-tier class.

All the playable characters are as follows:

    only 20 other characters? LOL
There were only 4 of the Occult Scrolls in Path of Radiance. I doubt you can even have 20 people total in your party very often.
