Messed up auction house?

In the world of ruin, you are supposed to be able to buy Hero Rings and Zephyr Cloaks at the auction house. However, after I bought the Excalipoor there, ever single auction has been either a robotic imp or a miniature airship. Not a single Zephyr or Hero ring. This is annoying me to no end, has any of you noticed the same?

I've gotten one opportunity to buy a Zephyr Cloak which I did immediately took up, and about three Hero Rings. Odd.

I've had no problems with this, maybe you need Excalipoor out of your inventory?

I already got Gilgamesh, so that can't be it. I'm serious, I've entered well over 50 auctions without anything except robot imps and airships.

The random number generator in Final Fantasy VI is totally broken, and sometimes it makes you end up getting the same thing over and over and over again for some reason, even if it's a rare occurance in some cases. I'd say to just keep trying, but if you've actually done anywhere near 50 tries that seems permanent to me. Maybe you somehow made the game stop producing random numbers altogether for the auction house somehow? That sounds annoying. I hope it fixes itself. Have you tried saving, turning your game off, and restarting? If something went to Hell, that might fix it...it's worth a try I guess.
