  1. #1

Default Which is your favorite Black Mage's Song?

Which Black Mages songs are your favorites?

    I'd say my favorites are:
1.) Fight With Seymour (FINAL FANTASY X)
2.) Clask on the Big Bridge (FINAL FANTASY V)
3.) Hunter's Chance (FINAL FANTASY IX)
4.) Battle Theme (FINAL FANTASY VI)
    4.) Matoya's Cave (FINAL FANTASY I)
5.) Vamo' Alla Flamenco (FINAL FANTASY IX)

I love their re-makes of Final Fantasy songs.

That song was pretty good but I liked their version of the Battle Theme from Final Fantasy VI better.

I agree. All of their songs are brilliantly dome, with a sutle rock twist on them.

    Apart from Dancing Mad.

I'd much rather listen to the originals... of what I have heard.

I like Clash on the Big Bridge, The Skies Above, Matoya's Cave, Vamo'Alla Flamenco, Those Who Fight Further, Battle Scene 1 and Blue Blast ~ Winning the Rainbow the most. Looks like I prefered their second album. Is there a Black Mages 3 thing coming up?

I sought out and downloaded the album purely for that track, then someone bought me it, and I guard it like the Imperial Seal purely for that track. It's also one of those that doesn't just sound like a MIDI of the original tune with a few power chords slapped over it (Dancing Mad ¬_¬)

My favorite song by the Black Mages is probably Advent: One-Winged Angel. I generally prefer the Black Mages songs in FFVII AC to other songs by the BMs since the AC songs are pretty much made for certain scenes. Other than A:OWA, I like the following songs by the Black Mages: The Final Battle (FFIII DS version), Those Who Fight Further (AC version), The Chase of Highway, Jenova (AC version), Clash on the Big Bridge, Dancing Mad, Fight with Seymour, The Rocking Grounds, Zeromus, Vamo' Alla Flamenco, Hunter's Chance, Matoya's Cave, Maybe I'm a Lion, Battle with the Four Fiends, The Skies Above and Blue Blast - Winning the Rainbow.
People dislike FFIX because they're horrible idiots. - Kawaii Ryűkishi
"One-Winged Angel" is far and away the best final boss song ever
    composed.
