Nope. (SPOILER)Vayne was about to loose power because he lost the entire 8th fleet so he quickly got rid of those taking away his cushy post: his dad and the Senate

(SPOILER)My bet is still with bergan, its obvious he is symathetic to Vayne and seems to act alone. That attack on mt bur was unprovoked and was likely taken without prior knowledge of Vayne or Aracadia. Its also likely scince Venat had something to do with it being a contendor to his people and the religion that worshiped them. I can only see the dreamors face when he finds out that Venat (possessing Bergan) the occurian that he worshiped came to kill him. The other question is does Vayne know Bergan did it.
