Getting rid of Ring Wyrm

Just a wee tip for those stuck on that nasty Ring Wyrm,

Get yourself an Elven Bow, start fighting him, then stay on the opposite side of that big fat cactus that he lives beside

Because he never casts magic he cant catch you, it might take a while but is sure does make him easy.

Using this i managed to kill him at only level 21, Woo go me

Wooo ! Now that you mention I remember I did the same. He fell pretty easy and later to my puzzlement I found many threads asking for help to defeat him. I was "WTF ?"

It seems a lot of the monsters in FFXII have a trick to get them and if you don't find it you spend hours on them...

Now this'll come in handy! I tried to kill him today... Well, normally quickenings are enough for mark monsters, but this time they took about 10% of his HP. I mean, what's up with that?

Am I the only person on this forum who didn't have any trouble with the Ring Wyrm? I just hit him with physical attacks and kept up my healing.

I don't remember what level I was, although he was long and annoying at times, he went down without major difficulty.

Getting immunity to his immobilize and then just fighting/healing til he died.. which did take quite a while.
Although I had our favortie Hi-Potion throwing guest, who may have tipped the scales.

want a REAL easy way?use bonecrusher..lol...when i was at cerobi steppe(or was tchita uplands?)it took me like 30 min for it to die...used bonecrusher...10 seconds...lol
