Balthier's the leading man; how can you not like him! Aside from Ashe it seems like he'd have the best overall hygeine of the group.
Although that pic of him looking like young Darth does give me pause.
Yuna definatly sucked.
Balthiler kind of remindes me of Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer and maybe a bit of Jack Sparrow.
I don't know what's not to like about Balthier, and Angel from hell has a point there! (he does kinda act like spike and defi Good 'ol' Jack Sparrow)
EOFF needs a resurgence to it's former glory.
I wouldn't go as far and say that he's my best character in battle, but I do believe that he's pretty suave and I love his personality.
Balthier smugness annoys me, yet I like Jack Sparrow. I'm weird, what can I say ? :rolleyes2

My party always goes as follows:
(No Balthier and Fran) Vaan, whoever else.
(Balthier and Fran there) Balthier, Fran, Penelo.
(No Penelo) Balthier and Fran.
I always use that couple. It just seemed silly not to.
